Edgar's Story
How COD helped him get there?
Driven by his hope for a brighter future, Edgar enrolled in College of the Desert’s English as a second language program. Here he found the people and resources he needed to support his efforts and build confidence in himself.
“Everything is possible if you can believe in yourself” – this is Edgar’s mantra while studying at College of the Desert. As an immigrant to the United States, Edgar hopes to build a new life for himself. In the summer of 2025, he will be taking the GED exam.
