How COD helped her get there?

Being a full-time student and employee at College of the Desert is no easy task, but Nashelle attributes the support of COD faculty and staff to helping her complete the Business Administration 2.0 AS-T degree. 

 

As the Job Development Placement Coordinator, Nashelle helps connect students with work experience. She can now draw from the knowledge gained from her coursework to create better opportunities for students as she moves into leadership positions. 

 

Completing this degree required some sacrifices, but thanks to COD’s proximity and affordability, she has been able to set an example of the importance of education for her own children.
