Jonathon's Story
How COD helped him get there?
After taking a break to focus on his health, Jonathon returned to College of the Desert and received more than a degree. He found mentors, community and fresh confidence.
Many know him by his mobile DJ business or his radio show on Roadrunner Radio, CC Freaq. Jonathon returned to college at 31 because he saw a formal education as an investment in himself and a step towards his dream career in music production and editing. With his graduation date of spring 2026 just around the bend, he is grateful for the instructors and peers that saw his potential and encouraged him to not give up.

Completed a semester College of the Desert in 2014 and returned full time in 2024

Jonathon returned as a full-time student in 2024 and he will graduate in spring 2026.
